Did he really? Music is a business...how many mixtapes has he dropped? EPs major releases. None right? How has he promoted himself? Branded himself? Created a real lane? Don't forget Jay saw what an artist like JCole and Kanye could do. Ye released and paid for his own video. Cole put out several proclaimed projects including mixtapes...and evolved to out them out under his own imprint. Why would Jay hold his hand?

Jay obviously believes in Jay Elect....but Jay Elect dropped that ball a long time ago.....dude has to be lazy or to arrogant to think his talent alone doesn't require him to work harder for his wanted rewards.
