You can't even provide an example of a disloyal act. You used a dictionary definition. A betrayal of trust does not make someone disloyal. A covert act of treachery could be an act of loyalty.
Why would you remain loyal to someone who has been disloyal to you?
This goes back to loyalty being to one self. What made Michael's stance more relevant than Fredo's? Michael went against Fredo, but Fredo couldn't go against Michael? And you the one said keep family business in the family, yet, Michael chose to kill his brother when he could have just as easily had him exiled.
