I hope Apple doesn't expect to exist on customer loyalty alone.

Nah bro. This is an excuse. The 6s has a headphone jack. U could atleast rock wit that. Or the SE. Lol
:ld:I might just have to cop one. But, which model is better the 6S Plus or the SE.

The way Apple names their products is confusing as fukk. I could understand if it was a completely different product that would obviously warrent an entirely different name but just a minor iteration of an improvement doesn't warrent a completely new name or reason for a name change when it's not even clear.

I just don't like big phones. I might actually just get the 6S instead:sadbron:

The trend for big smartphones these days reminds me of the brick phone on the TV show Lost.

Ever since Steve Jobs passed, they've been on the decline as far as their products.

Seems like they're trying to milk their loyal customers for every cent they can get. Like why would you add fast charge, then make people pay for extra accessories. :mindblown:

They've stayed behind the curve when it comes to new features as well. When the first IPhone dropped it was innovative. Today the market has changed.

Apple needs to learn from RIM. When Apple and Android took off, RIM didn't think their loyal customers would jump ship. When the regular end user dipped, they didn't think the business end user would. By the time they tried to play catch up it was too late.

This new IPhone review is :snoop:

They want people to pay $1000 for a few minor upgrades :russ:

Apple has and still innovates. They are never first as in to be inventive. They just find a way to spot the trend & outpace. Apple watch is best smartwatch by a big margin. Apple dismantled Android tablets.

That said UI & UX along w/ apps is what makes the iPhone. UI & UX has declined for many years...but the better apps are keeping apple afloat. However Google is getting better with app quality. UI & UX is pretty much even both platforms.

Apple has software issues. The gap ain't KitKat/gingerbread vs iOS. Hell, in many aspects Android is the better software.

The main thing is the presence of no earphone jack socket.

That's why I'm sticking with my iPhone 4S until Apple comes back to their senses:mjcry:

Taking extra care of my 4S now

IOS and their branding. Their fine until IOS has problems..
Well, it already gets cripplingly slow whenever Apple updates the firmware intended for the newer models but the old models get too much CPU process and make the older models slow as fukk.

Nothing is "free", dipshyt. The contract that the phone comes "free" with is paid for in your contract which is really a credit loan repayment. It's better to buy a phone on pay-as-you-go and buy credit when you need it.

I buy phones outright not with a contract -- that's such a waste of money.

The iPhone 4S does the same thing as any other phone. It goes on the Internet, makes calls and text messages and the screen is in colour.

I'm not one for falling for marketing as all phones in the last 5 years are fundamentally the same with minor incremental improvements:yeshrug:

Until my 4S leaves me in the physical I won't get a new phone.

Before my 4S the last phone that I used until it broke was the Nokia 3210:wow: (classic).

iPhone 8 Is World's Fastest Phone (It's Not Even Close)
From a power standpoint the iPhone 8 destroys the competition.

Let's start with Geekbench 4, which measures overall performance. On the multicore portion of this test, the iPhone 8 hit 10,170. That's 54 percent faster than the score from Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 — currently the fastest Android phone

If you're wondering how all this translates to real-world performance, we have more good news for iPhone 8 shoppers — and bad news for everyone else. To really put the A11 Bionic chip through its paces, we put the same 2-minute video, shot in 4K by a drone, on the iPhone 8, Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8+, and then added the same transitions and effects before exporting and saving the video.

The iPhone 8 finished this strenuous task in just 42 seconds, while the Note 8 took more than 3 minutes. The Galaxy S8+ took more than 4 minutes.

Nope, there is no contract if you switch to a prepaid provider like metropcs. Just have to get the phone unlocked which is fairly easy to do and well worth the few dollars you have to spend to do it. Unless you are getting free phone service your total final “cost” is a little time and a few bucks.

Stop making excuses, you are just being cheap. Which is fine, but don’t sit there and act like it’s all the same. You don’t even have LTE on your phone.

The iPhone 4S is small, slow and doesn’t offer multiple “incremental” improvements that as a whole found on even free phones offered by prepaid carriers make it a much different experience across the board.

It's all relative breh. And it's something that people don't check for when they're buying a phone. And the s8 is still fast.

Honestly features like iTunes, iChat, FaceTime and other proprietary software is what loyal users care about the most.
The S8 is barely faster than the iPhone 7 in many respects.
