Freeman was a solid prospect for a franchise that's never had a franchise QB. He had a season before Schiano where he threw 25 TDs, 6 INTs, 62% completion. Schiano killed his confidence by making him throw low percentage passes and threw him under the bus for it. I don't know what happened between the two, but he definitely stopped any momentum Freeman had. Freeman is also 25 years old.
