I'm saying bruh thats a long time to wait by then he could have won a chip and a mvp or 2 can't call him trash after that, thats a hall of fame career potentially

Lotta trash QBs have won Super Bowl (see Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, etc.). Football is a team game after all.

If he's the guy you guys think he is, then he should still be successful in 2-3 years when he's taking up $30 mil/yr of cap space? Are you nikkas that scared that he's gonna regress back to the trash he used to be?

Right now Jared Goff is no different than Dak Prescott in 2016. Remember in 2016 when everyone thought Dak was great? But now we know the only reason he looked good is cause the Dallas o-line was the best unit in football back then and had him looking like a god when he really was mediocre. Same thing is happening right now with Goff. The Rams have arguably the best player in the league on both sides of the ball (Todd Gurley and Aaron Donald). They have an elite o-line. And a mastermind of a head coach. The only reason this all works right now is cause Goff is on a rookie deal and they can surround him with an all-star supporting cast. We're seeing something similar to a smaller degree in Chicago with the Bears. Once Trubisky gets paid, the Bears will similarly start being bad again.

All I'm saying is don't say I didn't warn ya'll. Cause I promise in 2-3 years ya'll will turn on Goff like ya'll have turned on Dak now that we've seen he ain't who he looked like in 2016.

So a mirage lasts 4 seasons?

It can if the rest of the team is amazing. Just wait till Goff has to be paid $30mil/yr. That money that is now going to the offensive line will be gone. The only reason is Rams are LOADED right now is cause Goff is on that rookie deal. That's how they were able to get Marcus Peters, Ndamkong Suh, Bradin Cooks, and Aquib Talib. All former pro-bowlers. Its how they were able to pay Todd Gurley and Aaron Donald top of the line money. Its how they were able to keep great role players like Lamarcus Joyner.

The Rams are a SUPER TEAM right now because Jared Goff is on a rookie deal. Once that deal expires and he's getting paid like he's Aaron Rodgers or something, all that elite talent around him be gone. They won't be able to have a stacked defensive line. They won't be able to have a stacked offensive line. They'll be relying on Goff to do what real elite QBs who are getting paid $30 mil/yr do. Which is carry a football team on their back. And I'm gonna be laughing my ass off when that happens cause WE ALL KNOW that ain't who Jared Goff is.

Jared Goff these last 2 years is no different than Dak Prescott in 2016. He's been a MIRAGE. Just remember how the Dallas o-line made Dak Prescott look like he was an elite QB in 2016 cause they were the most dominant unit in football. Well that's what the Rams overall team is doing for Jared Goff. They are making him look like he's an elite QB when he really ain't. And just as Dak Prescott got EXPOSED once the Dallas o-line wasn't super elite anymore, Jared Goff will similarly get EXPOSED when the Rams can no longer have a stacked roster around him cause he's getting paid $30 mil/yr.

Just remember that I warned ya'll.

Sometimes, it's easier to take the l now instead of doubling down and creating an L. Goff looks legit breh.

I've copped to being wrong before. This just ain't one of em. I've yet to be impressed by anything this p*ssy fakkit does. All he's doing right now is riding the same wave many a bum QB have ridden before. You acting like we ain't seen Dak Prescott dominate the league in 2016. Same with Nick Foles in 2013. Jared Goff's last 2 years ain't no different.

Goff is benefiting from McVay's scheme like Foles did in 2013 when people couldn't figure out what Chip Kelly was doing in Year 1. And he's also benefiting from the ELITE talent around him like Dak Prescott did in 2016 thanks to the Dallas o-line. These 2 forces are what is causing this MIRAGE. They are giving ya'll the illusion he's great when he really ain't.

If he's still doing this in 2 years when he's getting paid $30 mil/yr and the rest of the roster isn't stacked then I'll admit I was wrong. But I see ZERO CHANCE of that happening. Nothing I've seen from these bum the last 2 years gives me even an iota of worry that he's anything other than the bum I saw from the jump. This p*ssy eyed fakkit has had a nice lil run lately. But that shyt will end soon. And he'll be back to the trash we saw in 2016 as a rookie.

Go ahead and call your shot on a player with a hot take but this dude typing entire essays/dissertations hoping/praying a player fails just so they can be right on a message board:picard:

I'm just doing this for yalls benefit.

Remember two years ago I was the only one saying Markelle Fultz was trash when all the draft analysts said he was the #1 prospect in the draft. Now everyone is trying to make excuses for why Fultz sucks.

Yall will be doing the same for Goff soon enough.

You're argument doesn't hold any weight cause Goff has already been a success. Whether it sustains itself over the course of years is a completely different topic and can be said about any player who's doing well currently no matter the sport. I get it if he was having a Nate Peterman type start and career but this is far from the case. Its like saying Jordan Peele who did "Get Out" will flop on his next movie.. which could happen but technically he's already a success. Basically saying, "oh he did Get Out but he'll suck soon enough, just wait.

You brought up Fultz but he hasn't had one ounce or even one smidgen of success at all on the pro level. Bad example.

Dak also had early success. You still think he's elite?

Sports is a what have you done for me lately business. If you can't sustain success past a few years, then you're irrelevant.

Especially at QB where a decent career should last 10-15 years at the least.

Now you're changing the subject and moving goal posts. Are we talking a success story or long term dominance like a Tom Brady or Drew Brees which is extremely rare? You could switch and insert numerous QB's in your thread title tbh. Technically Dak, Goff, Mahomes, Wentz, Trubisky, DeShaun Watson, etc are all success stories currently.. but preying for a downfall or even a regression doesn't make you a Nostradamus. You're basically hoping for a downfall just to save face on a hot take. Go ahead and do ya thing but nobody respects that.

How is it hoping when I'm telling you exactly how its gonna go down?

They will have to pay Goff franchise QB money soon. We all know what that means. No more Marcus Peters. No more Aquib Talib. No more elite o-line. No more Ndamakong Suh.

When a QB gets paid $30mil/yr the thinking is he'll perform like a $30 million QB and cover up for some of the holes in depth that come when you pay one player that much money. I'm telling you that once that happens, this Goff guy is gonna fall flat on his face and so will the Rams. I used the word "MIRAGE" in this thread for that very reason. Because a mirage is a image that looks real at first but as you take a closer look you realize it isn't what it seems but is instead a fake. Well the mirage here is Jared Goff is fooling you guys into thinking he's an elite QB because he's had an all-star team around him making him look ELITE. Just as the Dallas o-line and Zeke made Dak Prescott look elite in 2016. Once the o-line started to fall off and Zeke got suspended, Dak got exposed.

I'm telling you that once the Rams have to start paying this bum and aren't using that money on building a Super Team around him, he'll fall flat on his face like Dak Prescott the last 2 years. That ain't hoping. That is telling you like it is.

Yes Goff's contract is up next but Peters has been shakey, Talib has missed most of the season, and Suh is replaceable. Its been Aaron Donald and a host of other lesser known players stepping up for the Rams especially on defense. And even Dak is still in the position to make the post season and right the ship. But you're still changing the subject matter, moving goal posts, and praying on downfalls just to prove a point. 80% of the NFL is all about player turnover, parity, and the elimination of dynasties. I'm not going to argue and go numerous pages on some bullshyt. Have at it breh.

I could keep naming guys like Andrew Whitworth who is paid big time LT money. That o-line has been performing so you know some of those young guys will want to get paid, so they'll be leaving. If you wanna shyt on Marcus Peters, I'll raise you Lamarcus Joyner who got franchise tagged and is a nice player. He'll be gone once Goff gets paid. And so on.

No matter what name you dismiss, I can keep naming more. The Rams have the most talented roster in the NFL. And a big reason for that is the fact they haven't had to pay Goff. Once he gets paid, the roster will need to be trimmed. Especially with Aaron Donald making what he does. As well as Todd Gurley, Bradin Cooks, and all the other guys they have under contract.

This ain't moving the goal posts. Its describing to you what will happen very soon. And how once all these luxuries are gone, we'll see the real Jared Goff once again. Which is a GARBAGE QB.
