:mjlol: What's the excuse today?

Eagles defense magically became elite overnight?

Eagles took away Gurley on the ground (and he was hurt) and the Rams WRs couldn’t get behind the safeties for any deep plays. That’s 75% of the offense right there. Goff was solid outside of a few terrible plays. Unfortunately those terrible plays turned into picks.

He’s having a rough patch. He’s still a top 5 QB

Goff was terrible all fukking night. That dumb ass pick he threw trying to do a no look pass while being sacked was the worst shyt I've ever seen.

He's a pocket QB who hasn't had much of a pocket since the bye....

When the pocket is clean he throws the prettiest passes in the league.

When its not he gets hurried and makes mistakes.

But according to swag he's the worst QB in the league. The same swag who is wrong about EVERYTHING

Goff's problem is that he folds like a chair once you knock him outta his pre snap reads and play script.

His ball IQ isnt high enough to know that are times it's better to MANAGE the game versus WINNING the game.

I like Mcvay alot but this tendency falls on him. Mcvay develops a culture where it's all about the big play and that the game is best won when the offense is on the field as much as possible (see all the punt fakes the rams have done this year).

Not saying hes wrong but for a young QB still finding his identity, that creates a side effect of developing a mind state of not trusting the D, locking eyes downfield, and not anticipating sacks (all aspects Brady is the GOAT at).

Second half of the Eagles game, the Rams tried to give Goff more check downs to avoid the pass rush but we had too big of a hole to climb out of and the special teams threw the game away.

Goff has the ability to be a Rivers-Level QB but his decision making is catastrophically bad at times. Gotta work on managing the game to make that leap.

To be fair, they dont trust the D because the D can't be trusted....

The behind the front 4 the Rams have one of the worst LB groups in the league. They can't tackle, and they take bad angles constantly. And then behind them we have a "probowl" secondary that gets lit up constantly....its a joke

The defense puts the offense in a position where they can't afford to manage the game, or play for field position. They have to score consistently because the defense gets gashed. Its not on McVay.....this is on Wade Phillips and the defense
