I been thinking about buying the original Xbox from the local game exchange to
do this for a minute.

Is this hard to do and are they're better consoles to do this with?

I know I can do this with a pc but I just wanna try this.

nikka, I'm just trying to play SNES and other old school games on a console so my niece and nephew can pickup and play without asking me how to set it up.

Wait for the Razer Forge TV or get the Amazon Fire TV or Nexus Player. The Forge TV will be more powerful and you can emulate Dreamcast games on down to the NES.

You can also try the fire TV stick. Its $39 and you can run SNES and N64 games on it.
