I just came back from Brazil Carnaval

Wanted to check out Brazil in the next couple years. How critical is it that you speak or understand Portuguese?

@peppe & @GrindtooFilthy putting ya'll on game, with the knowing the Portuguese, you probably only unlocking 15% of the Brazil potential if you can't speak with them

Its really not a foreign concept that you need to know Portuguese to consistently pull non-pros in brazil. Although i got some friends who still had success without Portuguese. But its not recommended

Rio and Sao Paulo not necessary but it will def give you a leg up, outside of those 2 cities i actually recommend you do

I have a vested interest in learning french, portuguese, and some arabic regardless because I plan on doing a proper African tour, roughly 50% of the continent is Latin speaking in some form. I might as well start now and get it out the way.

Toss in Chinese because I need that Guangzhou business connect.

Like I said, im not knocking y'all in the least bit. No harm no foul over here. Its just hard for me to believe the women there are that easy unless money is on the table. And if money is the reason, then they're no different than American women, just much cheaper.

I would recommend Rio to you. I’ve been there pre IG and I was golden. Back then at least, it was easy to “make out”. Brazil has a make out culture. You will be slobbing on a woman but hard to get her to your spot. Logistics is key though. At the same time, you will see “your chick” slobbing on another man a few minutes later.

I pulled two non pros during my 8 day. I’m short gang, fit and have a mouth piece. I’m not handsome gang but not ugly gang.

I stayed in copa so like OP said, the pros will run game. At the same time the non pros might ask for money as well.

Pickpocketing is high in lapa. The favelas aren’t too bad as long as you aren’t looking like a lick. We went to a few and had no problems. This was during the day though.
