I would recommend Rio to you. I’ve been there pre IG and I was golden. Back then at least, it was easy to “make out”. Brazil has a make out culture. You will be slobbing on a woman but hard to get her to your spot. Logistics is key though. At the same time, you will see “your chick” slobbing on another man a few minutes later.
I pulled two non pros during my 8 day. I’m short gang, fit and have a mouth piece. I’m not handsome gang but not ugly gang.
I stayed in copa so like OP said, the pros will run game. At the same time the non pros might ask for money as well.
Pickpocketing is high in lapa. The favelas aren’t too bad as long as you aren’t looking like a lick. We went to a few and had no problems. This was during the day though.

Matter of fact, let me correct myself. If I run into a decent one, I wouldn't mind spending a lil bread while she shows me around the city. One cool chick to smash and run around with till I leave. That would be my ideal type of good time.

I stayed 2 weeks roughly total cost of the trip was over $5K for me but that was only because I was around ppl that had me wasting money for no damn reason. Ideally just a week is good. Land Friday and leave monday
flight ticket round trip: $700 (if you buy it on time or earlier might be cheaper)
Hotel/bnb: 7 days probably around $800 (again book this early might get a cheaper rate)
if you want the VIP experience at the sambadrome: $650
pocket money: $750
I been to Rio before so I had a few connections but this trip REALLY solidified it for me, I got a solid list of connections now.

If you go this route you should know what the standard tricking prices is no point in giving her more than you would if you just paid to smash.

Yes if you think someone wants to show you around a city that they live in and been to spots that you want to discover a million times and you want to smash then better to stay at home.
