I just found the
Werewolves:wow:

Those fights are just awful. Like wtf were Ready At Dawn thinking?

Basically its a cinematic game with a nonsensical story and god awful dialogue. The shooting is alright and the graphics are great but thats all it has going for it.

That's the most unforgivable part.

The fact the story doesn't get interesting until it ends

And the werewolf fights are amongst the worst sections of any game I've played this Gen.

Lol the first fight with them had me basically pressing X and dodging and then I could shoot them after 3 dodges. And they basically just run in circles and attack me. Is that what yall are referring to?

People used to pay full price for games this length all the time in the past. Hell people used to play full price for games half the length of this in the past.

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at here :jbhmm:
well first of all, I assume that saying it should have launched for $5 is half a joke. but the point is, it wasn't worth $60

and if that $60 price tag was needed to cover their budget, that really doesn't help the lack of value for the consumer. they need to look at the final product, and determine what people would be willing to pay for it, even if that means making less profit, or taking a loss

I think this was also think this was an issue with No Man's Sky. overall I think people wouldn't have been as upset about that game if it didn't go for the $60 price point

I mean why does every AAA game have to launch at $60? I think they worry about the perception of the game as a lower quality product if it launches at a lower price point. or maybe they're just hoping for a lot of suckers that will pay $60 regardless :manny:

I bring up Scalebound because it shows that these companies are willing to take a big loss if shyt ain't going right

You understand that its the choice between making a loss now and making an even bigger loss further down the line right?

Value is completely subjective.

Journey was like 2 hours long and I got more out of it than any open world fetchquestcollacthon I've ever played.

There's a lot of people out there that enjoy shorter linear games.

You never even played the game so saying it's not worth $60 is meaningless because that's not up to someone who doesn't even like this style of game to decide.

I agree not every game should be $60 but that's the world we live in.

The people that didn't want this game weren't going to suddenly buy in droves because it launched at $40 or something.

And $5 is just absurd. The budget does matter because the lower the price the more they have to sell to make money and this is a business. The audience for this game wasn't going to explode at a lower price point.
