Preface: can we have a civil discussion on this verse please mods? :manny:

Any Coli Muslims want to give me their take on this story?

Do you see this type activity as Halal in Islam in today’s day and time?

Or is this considered a “weak Hadith”

Are accepted “STRONG” Hadiths even considered the “word of Allah” and authoritative?

One thing for sure, IF I was ever to accept Islam, I’d definitely be one of those QURAN ONLY type Muslims

But in a historical sense, “weak Hadith” or not, you can be 1000% sure this is how Arab Muslim Men was getting down with female slaves and “war booty”during the Arab conquest and expansion of Islam in the Middle East and North Africa.

These followers of Muhammad was literally trying to have their Cake and eat it too! :wow:

Just discovered this funny haddith :mjlol:

Seriously, even if this was determined by scholars a “weak” Hadith credibility wise, there was still MUSLIM LEADERS who wrote this and thought it needed to be included in the canon.

And likely millions of Muslims who (as part of their religion) must follow these instructions on…… dying hair? :gucci:

A verse whose entire purpose is subliminally enforcing Jew and Christian hatred for the sake of STYLE? :what:

Seems like Muslims wanted a reason from ALLAH to justify VANITY :lolbron:

@merklman you hiding from this thread or what?

Get in here and explain these Hadiths please:youngsabo:

[Sahih al-Bukhari, Number 230]

Narrated Sulaiman bin Yasar:

I asked 'Aisha about the clothes soiled with semen.

She replied, "I used to wash it off the clothes of Allah's Messenger (a) and he would go for the prayer while water spots were still visible. "

^This Hadith always disturbed me. :gucci:

@merklman or any Muslim can you tell me if this is “authentic” and what religious purpose does this verse serve in Islam? :jbhmm:

Sahih Muslim 2331 a

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) used to come to our house and there was perspiration upon his body. My mother brought a bottle and began to pour the sweat in that. When Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) got up he said:
Umm Sulaim, what is this that you are doing? Thereupon she said: That is your sweat which we mix in our perfume and it becomes the most fragrant perfume.

:mjtf:

Either the Hadith writers were on “diddy” type behavior or they had a wild sense of humor :manny:

How does stuff like this in a religious book not seem weird to Muslims?

It’s this an authentic haddith? @merklman

Maybe like a religious forum. Maybe HL is the best place on The Coli, but you’d probably get more responses on a religious forum.

I don’t know if you’re new to these forums but plenty threads on religion get made all the time

There’s no specific spot for it. But I assume gaining “Higher Learning” is the point of all religion.

In the case of ISLAM and the Quran, the Coli has many Muslims here who have posted in my threads

This thread is for them (they know who they are) but they are surprisingly absent:youngsabo:

Anas said, "Some people of Ukl or Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them. So the Prophet (e) ordered them to go to the herd of (Milch) camels and to drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they went as directed and after they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet and drove away all the camels. The news reached the Prophet (68) early in the morning and he sent (men) in their pursuit and they were captured and brought at noon. He then ordered to cut their hands and feet (and it was done), and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron, They were put in 'Al-Harra' and when they asked for water, no water was given to them." Abu Oilaba said, "Those people committed theft and murder, became infidels after embracing Islam and fought against Allah and His Apostle

One of The Grossest Hadiths:gucci:

I dont understand how the people who wrote these thought they were promoting Islam

Seems like it would have an opposite effect.:manny:

Were they simply trying to scare Muslims and keep them in order with Muhammad as a “boogeyman”:ohhh:

Or were they just writing stories for entertainment? :jbhmm:

What do you not like about this particular Hadith?
It’s not about what I don’t like…. I’m asking why it’s written in the first place and even relevant

as a Muslim what purpose does it serve for you?

I’ll give you an opportunity to explain the spiritual value in it assuming it’s a legit Hadith and to be considered the actual word of God given to mankind
