I just don't see it with Ambrose

Dean is top-notch, he's one of the only handful of guys that comes off natural in his on-screen persona

They're having him pull pranks and mutilate a Seth Rollins dummy... how is this a good time to make a call on whether what he does falls flat or not?

The only thing I can fault him on is that he should have absolutely refused to do that fukking awful segment.

People thought I was just on that hateration when I criticized Dean Ambrose, but if the show sucks as a whole, then how can you consider yourself greater than what you have?

Anyway, I wish they'd let him be a little more gritty instead of such slapstick comedy. His sarcasm and mannerisms are good enough. He doesn't need props and bad puns.

Ambrose is coming along decent IMO, I didn't expect him to take to being a face as smoothly as he did. They're asking us to overlook too much with how they're going about Ambrose v Rollins. The comedy and shtick isn't right or needed here, Rollins betrayed them when you were supposed to be "brothers" and joined what y'all were rallying against. .. Plus he had the gall to put your head thru a cinder block nearly ending your career.

It's not the time for slapstick and humiliation to "make people smile and send them home happy" it's time for intensity and diabolical brutality which is where he shines. I get it that their hands are kinda tied as far as how far you can push since we can't bleed or get too crazy with the cell, it just feels like they're going about things the wrong way with him. He can be just as lunatic fringy and unstable as they're telling us he is without the Tom and Jerry shyt

I still say they messed up in that Rollins should have started as a Jeff Hardy style flippy face...and Ambrose be a heel and be HHH's protege.....then down the line Ambrose can turn on HHH to, hopefully, a big face push.

It seems obvious to me but either they didn't see it, or they wanted to be contrary.

Reigns just seems like a permanent tweener to me.

It's not so much that the goofy shyt that bothers me (because I know it's coming) in this case. Ambrose whole gimmick is that he's a little out there & crazy so I get it, but in this specific angle with Rollins I would have prefered a more serious Ambrose. Ambrose should be doing random shyt to ammuse himself but at some point he also needs to be serious.

That's a bigger thing than just this angle though since they do it all the time with the comedy stuff. Cena is the main example the way he gets serious maybe 3 times a year over something & the rest of the time he is cutting stupid jokes. When they have Cena be serious about something is when you get the best out of him but since their marketing mainly to kids they don't do it enough.
