I came in to say the same thing. If you get jelly in the peanut butter jar its okay because you typically only use peanut butter for sandwiches.

I don't eat pb&j sandwiches and never really did but I was gonna say to try putting the jelly first too. But wait, what if you just wash the knife under the faucet so you can clean it up a bit between condiments? Wash off the jelly and move to pb.

You got to stir up the jelly in the jar so you dont get big chunks of gelatin that you try to spread out on the bread, fukkin up the bread. If you put a hand mixer in the jelly jar you get a nice smooth jelly that often you dont even need to spread on the bread just pour it on or slab it on and your good.

If your jelly is in a glass jar, wrap it in aluminum foil and put in the microwave for 10-15 minutes; gives it an easy to spread consistency.
