I just finished A Dance With Dragons (game of thrones spoilers)

After watching the red wedding I knew I wasn't going to be able to go any longer without having the show spoiled for me so I broke down and started reading the books. Killed the first 3 pretty easily. Book 4 was hard to get through but I know they were just setting stuff up for book 5.

To be honest I don't think much has happened in the books since the end of season 3. I expected to read about Team Targaryan putting in work in westeros but shes still across the narrow sea. I wonder if Mormont will get exposed as a fraud in the TV show or will they just gloss over that part.

When do you think book 6 will come out and do you expect the series to catch up to the show?

Anyways I'm glad Geoffrey is dead and Im glad Cersei was shamed for her sins. I didn't want Tywin to go out like that but he deserved it. The john snow story lines have been pretty boring to me except when someone would say "you know nothing john snow".

I love the terms though.

Another observation I had about the book. I remember reading that b*stards are looked down upon because they are spawned by lust or rape and not duty or honor.

Is the fact Ramsey Storm (The b*stard of Bolton) is a sadisc killer out of the ordinary or is he just doing what b*stards do? Why hasn't he been held accountable for the things he's done?


I cant accept stannis or john being dead. I think Jamie might be dead/

Hopefully the sixth book comes out next year if he doesn't want the show to catch up. Also get the sample chapters if you haven't read them yet.
