My dude had never eaten a raw coconut before, but he always loved coconut flavored things or shredded sweetened coconut.

I finally cut open a raw one for him and tried to give him some bits and water, but he made the face after tasting it. I guess he expected it to be sweet and soft.

That's how I am with mangos. I love mango flavored juices and smoothies but when I ate an actual mango, I spit it out. It's nasty as hell.
