I've been unemployed or a bit over a month now so I shouldn't be choosy but I just got offered a job at a luxury retailer which I'm not surprised by because I worked at another for 4 years. But I don't like the department I interviewed for and I know beyond the checks the job is gonna be lame. I also just got invited to interview for Apple who I'd rather work for but I wouldn't interview with them for another two weeks and I know they do multiple interviews and will probably take time I might not have if I take this job.

I don't fam, am I being too picky? I do need money.

As I get older I'm learning to never take any job/task that you don't want because you're going to be miserable and sometimes it's better to have peace, mentally, than it is to jump at the first thing that comes to you.

Start googling shyt like "make 20 a day online", "make 500 a week online"...there's quite a few ways out here to keep yourself afloat if you're even just a little tech savvy

I really would just be honest with the retailer and tell them you have a interview with apple also and see what they say.

Accepting a job doesn't automatically end the job search.

Do they need you to start immediately? I know jobs will work with you on start date for the right circumstances (such as like, needing to relocate) if the urgency isn't too great. If they don't need you immediately, then keep looking.

No. You not being too picky. This is your time and energy. Nothing wrong with turning down jobs that will just waste your time and stunt your development. Use turning it down to motivate you to go after what you really want.

you went to the job interview and told them wtf they wanted to hear so I dont understand why you dont want it now
I'm not going to interview poorly on purpose. Plus, I didn't say anything like "oh wow I'd love to be here this is my dream", I just told them what I offer and what I've done in my past experiences. Just happens to match up with what they want.

My mistake was not paying more attention to or investigating the department more. There's other areas of the store I'd rather work for but it's a bit late now.

I actually asked if I could start after when my interview happened to be which they said was okay so I might be okay for a bit. Only thing is I'm pretty sure Apple will do multiple interviews if I move forward so I don't know how I'll handle that if I start this other job.

Get baking soda and sugar and wrap it tight in a small baggy so as to look like a substance that undesirables may want
find undesirables in your area at night
trade them their money that they have earned from begging people all day for your 100% legal baking soda sugar concoction*
(* do this at night quickly so they may not have the visual acumen to discern that your concoction is not really what they are looking for)
