Ignore it. It's fake.

They got your password from one of the many website leaks (Linkedin, Transunion, Ashley Madison, etc...) and are using that as "evidence" that your computer has been compromised.

It hasn't.

Tell them to kick rocks.

Most of the people in my contacts are female friends/colleagues. I told him to make sure he sends that too.

Got sent something in my spam with one of my old passwords talking about some extortion as well.

It’s probably from one of the databases from a hacked website. Either way I haven’t used that password in years.

That would make sense.....thats why I've always used old emails when I sign up or run my 100% LEGAL copy of Adobe Suites.

I got this same email, but in an old hotmail account.
