Some of yall are trying to clown him but you don't even know how much $ he has saved, he could have more money saved than you do, and yes sometimes ppl lose a job, doesn't mean he won't find another one.

I've been laid off before but fortunately had passive income at the time until i found something else. Also had my savings. I was pretty calm like OP. No sense in flipping out and panicking like you'll never find another job, especially if you don't have any kids. The only person i had to worry about taking care of was myself so maybe that's why i wasn't stressed about what i was gonna do.
