What some of you northerners don't understand is that the roads weren't prepared to deal with the snow that turned into ice. And it's 10 degrees now and was 25 when it snowed so the roads froze while people were trying to get home.

BTW, y'all do realize that ATL is full of transplants, mainly from the North, who are having a difficult time getting around. Stop the ignorance acting like this is about a couple inches of snow

Its not the snow, its the ICE. The south doesn't have the infrastructure to continuously treat the roads like the North East...Coupe that with the fact that it came out of nowhere and a lot of southerners don't know how to drive in regular conditions let alone ice/snowy, and you get what we have right now....

I stayed in Boston from Dec to March 2006/07 so I'm qualified to speak on it.....

NYC had 22 inches of snow last time I was there and driving was a cakewalk. You can drive on that shyt. You can't drive on ice.

Im still tripping at these dudes out west and up north that think they can drive there audis and dodge chargers on a 1/2 in sheet of ice....Its not the snow that caused these driving conditions its the ice..Hell I left my subdivision yesterday to go to the store not even an 1/8 of a mile away and my shyt started to slide down the hill and I drive a Lincoln Navigator with Awd/4wd..These cats are something else
