People have bad living habits that make their homes more attractive to bugs in general.Unless people change their habits, it's a matter of WHEN and not IF you get bugs.
More important than any insecticide is the importance of TAKING out garbage and recyclables DAILY (nightly).
There is no legit reason why an open bag of rotting food or a bin of cans/bottles/paper should be inside a home overnight.
At least 4 times a year...pull the fridge AND stove away from where they stand...vac and mop under them...allow to dry and put back. If you don't do this regularly, you be surprised how much food and trash are under there.
Get a box of Borax (the detergent booster)...and sprinkle thin layer where the stove and fridge were....when you put the appliance back....sweep the Borax underneath .
Of course, the obvious things like spraying the exterior of the house. ....checking for and repairing water leaks.
You can proactively tackle bug problem with these steps....get the huge boxes of trash bags from office or warehouse club stores. so you get a better per bag price You need durable bags but remember, they are only holding one day's worth of trash .
