I used to have an Asus before I gave it to my mom.

I get that Mac lovers are passionate about them.
But I can't see the point of spending 4x the value for a Macbook.

And I know that people will say stuff like "But PCs always get viruses and malware"....

That's because you don't protect your shyt. I mean if you want to spend 4x more because you're too lazy to download some free software, more power to ya...ya know?

In any case, I do think the Macbooks are pretty cool.
Enjoy, breh.

I tried to go that "cheap" route, trying to avoid a Mac because it was expensive... Regretted that shyt. Spent more money buying new, fixing, or replacing my other shyt instead of just buying a Mac and saying fukk it.

You get what you pay for
I bought a new Mac Monday :ohlawd:

I tried the cheaper route too. Took my techie friend with me before I purchased. He said if I bought even the best pc, i'd have to buy a new one in a few years. MacBooks last 10 years. If I spent a lot of money on a laptop, I'm going to want it to last. :ld:

Apple gets viruses too now....

They arent invincible anymore...

:mjlol:
Kneegrow please

I probably haven't scanned my Mac in like 3 months for viruses.

I was scanning my PC... No matter who made it, like 3 times a week.

Most viruses are executables. Creating viruses for macs are like a lot of work for a lol reward to them nikkas

I feel u, i upgraded my '11 MBP RAM to 8gb. Its a total difference from the standard 4gb. Maybe sometime in the future i'll upgrade to the 16gb.
I was gonna stick with the 8 GB but i realized that 8 gigs are just what they recommend NOW...and i'm definitely keeping this shyt for a minute soo...

Breh, I'm a Windows user and I haven't had a virus (computer related :guilty:) since college (2003).
If I gave my brother a clean install of Windows, he'd have a virus before 11:00 tonight.

There is a user-related element to it, just fyi.

My HP from 2011 was slowing up and battery was dying, so I looked into getting a new laptop. 2 years ago I would've never gotten anything Apple but I ended up getting a late 2011 mackbook pro off ebay last month and I don't think I'm going back breh. It's still clean, crisp, smooth and I'm sure it'll last longer than any pc I could've bought

Would've been even more valuable if I was still in school (more usage) but still...they pay for themselves
