Being a comedian is very hard but when you think about it, they are extremely intelligent in how the whole presentation and finding good relatable shyt to get people going. It's no wonder they end up having range..doing radio shows, acting, etc.

I got to see Chappelle this weekend and it was just amazing how a packed house of 3000 people were just cracking up as soon as he said hello. It'd be dope to have that kind of control and respect from a crowd. He had like 45 minutes of written material and the other 45 minutes was just talking about current events and responding to stuff the crowd was saying. He didn't want to get off stage but he had a 2nd show, so they had to damn near kick him off lol.

ive been doing stand up for about 2 and a half months. i laughed at the "i have an attitude and stage presence" part because that isn't the sort of thing you really get a good grasp of your first time since you are just kinda trying to do anything to survive. glad to hear you didn't completely bomb.

i wanna give you a bit of advice that helped me, when you go up on stage the audience will instantly start to read your body language, so if you go up and are nervous the audience will see that and they will be nervous. but if you go up there and you are confident and you are having fun the audience will be confident and they will have fun.

I did ok I went up on a whim it was one of those now or never moments, I didn't even know what I was going to talk about nervous as fukk those 8 - 9 mins felt like 8 to 9 hours but I got a few laughs and afterwards the other comedians gave me my props now that I got that first out the way I'm good. I got a attitude and stage presence I'm going to work on hopefully in the near future I can have videos of my work so yall can critique it I know yall gonna give me the real deal.

I got a chance to see Deon Cole and Corey Holcome live this past weekend. They killed it. Deon Cole was extrememly funny and I didn't think he would be for some reason.
