Philadelphia rapper Young Chris says he has been in communication with Beanie Sigel and that things are looking positive.

“I talked to Beans on the phone,” Chris told Hip Hop Weekly. “Visitors are restricted, only immediate family. Only his mother, his wife — that’s it. They ain’t really lettin’ nobody up there right now, but I reached out to my brother.”

According to Chris, Sigel began talking again just before Christmas, and confirmed that his situation has improved since the December 5 shooting.

“He’s healing and he’s doing a lot better, but we’re praying for him and we need everybody to keep him in their prayers.”

Wonder if Jay reached out....that would warm my heart honestly. No homo.

10/10 song

Cant go on this way >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all else though
Young Chris on "Can't Go On This Way" probably hit me harder than any verse in hip-hop history outside of maybe Ghostface on "All I Got Is You".

I used to be in Job Corps listening to this in the morning as i was getting ready to start my day.
Side note, what is that Job Corps shyt like? My ex is headed there... should I go ahead and give up any chance for reconciliation now?

If she living in campus, it's a 90% chanced she gon be getting fukked. If it ain't the dudes, it's gonna be the gay bytches turning her out.

I'm not sure if you gonna want that reconciliation, breh.

I remember that album dropping around the same time Hov premiered H to the Izzo on the BET Awards. When I heard Nothing Like It (along with the last three tracks on that album), I knew The Blueprint was about to be SERIOUS.

Beans was good at conveying emotion. His verse on Where Have You Been is one of the saddest things that I have ever heard on a record :mjcry:

this one too :mjcrydoughboy:

Beans went the fukk in on "Where Have You Been"

sit down It's about time we have a father to son (nikka sit down)
let me tell you 'bout your fatherless sons
how they grew to be men and father they sons
father they daughters
nikka, you left a fatherless daughter
I never follow your orders
nikka you make me sick
p*ssy you could....ooh
how you gonna leave these memories in the back of my mind
I can see it clear as day you smackin my mom
I 'member that day you showed me that gat, that 9
put it in my palm when I was young
and said that would be mine, you turned me out
the reason why I hit the block
reason why I tried to hit them cops
reason why I started hittin shots
reason why I started gettin licked
and drinkin syrup and skippin court
