I just looked at the Hot 100 on Billboard. It's mainly Hip Hop and R&B

But but but white folks aren't taking over R&B and hip-hop. Black folks still got this. :childplease:

Listening to all these mixtape/regional rappers got folks confusing the game so badly. :pachaha:

Just for the sake of naming names to figure out who y'all are talking about:

Maclemore
Robin Thicke
Justin Timberlake
Mac Miller (ehhh he's featured on that Ariana Grande song)
Drake (:ld: well at least half of him)

Um.... these songs are big for a reason.

Like the charts all of a sudden don't determine popularity. :ld:

im not talking about the charts. im talking about peoples personal tastes, if you're bytching about the state of music you prolly listen to terrible music :ld:

pharell & nelly on the charts...on features with a techno group and a country singer. :wow: only solo black person in the top 20 is singing a country song. :heh:

That's not accurate. It's only true if you looked at the songs in the Top 10 and looked no further. Even then, when you look at the features and the producers of those songs, it's still not what it seems.

For the record, there have been several instances (at least since 2000) when the Top 10 Hip Hop and R&B records on the Hot 100 looked like it does now.
