If you think about it , if one of these dictatorship governments with nuclear weapons such as china or Russia were going to be overthrowned and the people became all violent and shyt, and the leaders knew that their necks will be on the chopping block if they were overthrown, what's stopping these dictators from pushing the nuke button and destroying the whole world. These guys literally have the power to destroy life on earth in the palm of their hands and they probably are the last kind of people you want to have that kind of power because in the end, they don't value life, thats why they are dictators. They are sociopaths who only care about their own self interest. It's something i can't get my head around. We are all literally at the mercy of sociopaths who would probably be willing to push the button if shyt goes down.

Even if the US built Star Wars, there's always going to be a more advanced propulsion/shielding system. The truth is the US doesn't know what kind of tech Russia and China employ in their nuclear warheads. It's like cat and mouse really. Weapon systems keep evolving

The U.S. has carried out and supported more major atrocities in the last few decades than Russia and China combined.

But I agree, the possibility of a nuclear war is highly troubling and I think we should be making efforts to reduce nuclear weapon arsenals globally.
