Aaron Hernandez got more media coverage than Peterson that shyt was on the news every day.


As far as Ray Rice, that shyt got all the play it did because of Goodell shady ass

I don't recall Hernandez getting as much coverage as Peterson and cacs hammered Goodell until he was forced to act. Studies show cacs actually prefer Hispanics to blacks--even going so far as to prefer Hispanics to blacks in hiring (behind whites of course)--so this is only a surprise to the morons in the coli.

I think the validity of the Google trend search is mitigated by the search criteria, which measures new coverage from specified goes all the way back to 2008, when Aaron Hernandez, Ray Rice and AP weren't in the news for crimes. This likely confounds the findings. The Aaron Hernandez murder news came out in 2013-2014, in and around the same time Ray Rice and AP's news came out. I did a Google trend search from 2013-2014 using the same player variables (plus michael sam and ray lewis) and these are the results:

Yup. Very different circumstances plus it didn't drag on with new revelations like the Ray Rice/Peterson thing has. Although Hernandez did get a lot of national non-sports coverage.
