As someone who works in the fashion industry that's entirely too much to be spending on shorts. Shorts and pants are where you can spend less on and no one will notice. Spend your money if you want to look good on your shirts/jacket/sweatshirt and shoes.

Also as stated above. 9" shorts are too long unless you're super tall.
