exactly.

this would be me when it comes to footwear, I don't mind spending money on my kicks. just a few days ago, I was on a website looking at these Versace sneakers for $1300.00 and I wanted them bytches bad as hell, but I came to my senses before I pulled the trigger. not like I can't afford it, but just spending that much on some kicks would be sticking in the back of my mind forever if I copped em'.

these the ones :noah: https://www.ssense.com/men/product/versace/black-leather-high-top-sneakers/105488

Damn, they are nice but I would never spend that much. I think with sneakers/shoes wouldn't spend upwards of 250£ or so, TOPS!

See, I'm the opposite. I HATE stuff with logos with a passion; I like simple, clean designs, and I think logos take away from the aesthetic of the clothing. I don't like my clothes to scream "Oh, she's wearing [insert designer here]"; the quality should speak for itself.

I can rock anything and make it looks good. I usually go with sports brands like Nike, Converse, Adidas, etc. But the whole point of designer gear is for people to say just that! "Oh, look, he's wearing this or that".

I mean, I wouldn't cop some ugly shyt just cause its designer but if I pay for designer clothes I like, they should have the logo. That's really what ur paying for. You could get the same exact sweater for 20 bucks if it was no logo

no ralph?
:camby:

:troll:

Actually before I copped the Lacoste I went to the Polo store to see what's up. They had similar sweaters, same price range. So I just copped the Lacoste in the end. It looked a lot better.

Spend insane amount of money on shyt made in a sweat shop for pennies on the dollar with slave labor in one thread.

Cry about the system in the next :ehh:

I know. Its some :snoop: but deep down most of us wanna have what we consider to be nice things :smh:

I think it depends on the brand. I have a few Ralph Lauren Black Label pieces; they don't have any discernible logo, but you can tell that they are quality pieces simply from the cut and quality of fabric/leather used. That's the kind of stuff I like, but I know a lot of people like to have the logo on their clothes, and that's fine.

That's the truth. I've gotten some of my best stuff from consignment shops or Goodwill. I live in a fairly well-to-do area, and the things some of these people just give away or donate blows my mind, but hey, I've benefitted from it so I can't complain. Why pay full price for something when I can get it severely discounted?

I just discovered this site- browsed just a bit but thought I'd share. Online consignment :lupe: https://www.liketwice.com

I mean, obviously its good quality material as well, if not people wouldn't buy it but half the price ur paying is for the logo itself.

@Roberto Dinero nothing wrong with Lacoste but you and i both know its overpriced. You might wanna check out some lesser known, great cheaper brands. Especially being in the UK (right) a brand like Farah would set you up properly :banderas:
