Did the relationship between Sur and Black gangs worsen as a result of some Mexicans being victimized during the riots? Read a couple sources indicating some La Eme members were not happy about that.

Also, how long did the so called truces between rival Black gangs last after the riots ended? Are any of the truces still holding to this day?

naw they were pretty cordial

and the truce only lasted less than 2 years if I'm not mistaken

La riots changed lapd forever. Lapd lost they intimidation. And a lot of those Asian owned stores are black owned now.

naw LAPD got worse, it wasnt until the legendary Rampart Scandal of 2001 that the Feds came in and took over
