seems like an upgrade over the last one...If your a wrestling fan you'll like it but I think they missed something major with the brand split

Thq and Yukes been dragging their feet on that series and producing some complex game play that brings about underwhelming results and confusion.
I'm in awe of guys who can play that shyt fluidly. I tried with 2k15 from the free games for gold and for the life of me I couldn't get back into this if I tried.

It is at times they did upgrade the submissions and it looks great

It plays just like 2K16 to me, and my preorder Goldberg code seems to be defective, as he is nowhere in sight.

Here's the thing the AKI games got the formula right years ago, does it make for the most realistic looking matches, no but the games were engaging and fun, the last great wrestling game, imo, was Smackdown, Here comes the pain.

If you cop one of these games on PC you won't need to ever cop the new version because everything from movesets to wrestlers are portable over between games...
They just update the roster, movesets and UI every year...

While I can't find ANY of my Smackdown games, I remember the few I had for the Ps2 not being nowhere as bad as that 2k shyt at all.
Now this is where I'd just go "Maybe I'm too old for this shyt" now that I can't point out ANYONE on a current day Roster past the legends hanging on and one or two with a distinct look, but I'm starting to believe it ain't me, that these games are actually horrible.
The last one I played before I copped the free shyt off of Xbox Gold was the last one to feature Chris.Ben.Wha before that tragedy and dudes would be on the ground writhing from a simple back body drop for nearly a whole fukking minute!
They'd be fresh as hell too; I just gave up on the shyts. Even the Smackdown games back when Taker was doing his Biker Persona shyt with the LimpBizkit intro didn't feel like that shyt at all.

I got 2k14 from the GameStop 4 for 20 deal the other day and went right back to playing 08. shyt isn't anywhere near as interactive or fun. Taking out the option for weak\ strong grapples was the dumbest thing in the world. I like to plan my attacks.
