Parrot National Review talking points to "own the libs" brehs. :mjlol:

Sixteen Democratic lawmakers, among them rising star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, on Thursday sent a joint letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo criticizing what they described as "counterproductive" US strategy on crisis-hit Venezuela.

"We write to express our deep concern regarding the Trump Administration's handling of relations with Venezuela, particularly its suggestions of military intervention, imposition of broad unilateral sanctions, and recent recognition of an opposition leader as interim president," the legislators wrote.

They warned recent sanctions could "exacerbate the country's grave economic crisis, causing immense suffering for the most vulnerable in society who bear no responsibility for the situation."

The lawmakers also strongly condemned Maduro for his repression of the country's civil society, economic failure, killing of unarmed protesters, holding illegitimate elections and blocking humanitarian aid...

Along with Ocasio-Cortez, lawmakers who signed included representatives Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and presidential hopeful Tulsi Gabbard.

This really isn't the point being made.

You and other leftists here have literally argued for the disregard of constitutional term limits in other countries because the candidate was "popular."

Is the issue here that Trump is trying to subvert democracy or that he wasn't popular enough in doing so?
And to avoid any long back and forth, the simple point being made is that plenty of members and supporters of both parties have shown hypocrisy in supporting what they feel is politically expedient to their bases while knowing they have no constitutional leverage to lean on.

Personal life[edit]
Miller lives near Washington, D.C. with his wife and their two daughters.[48] He also fathered a child with A. J. Delgado during a brief extra-marital affair, born six months after his second child.[49]

In 2018 Miller was accused of drugging his mistress with an abortifacient drug, by blending a pill into a fruit smoothie. The ensuing controversy caused him to leave his position as a political commentator on CNN.[50]

In 2019 Miller admitted in court that he had a history of visiting prostitutes and patronizing "Asian-themed" massage parlors.[51]
