I just watched the Rush Hour movies after a long time and....

Look, they are entertaining movies but I found the jokes to be corny. Maybe it didn't age well or the jokes were forced and a lot depended on making fun of Jackie's lack of English.

Again, they were entertaining, it's a cool duo but comedically it aint that good.

The black asian culture shock jokes were done 5 min into Rush hour 2 which is why i never bothered to check pt 3 but it was Chris' golden fortune cookie.

2 bad the success made him lazy and killed any momentum.

Money talks is still funny as hell 2 me. Rush Hour might be 1 of the most bootlegged movies in history tho. Everybody had that shyt bac in the day. That movie series fukked up Chris Tuckers career in a way, I know he made a ton of money but I feel like he never was really funny again after that and yeah the jokes in all of them movies are kinda lame looking back.
