Prime McGrady and who else?:comeon:
They lost to bad back Baron Davis, Bryce Drew, and Matt Bullard. :comeon:. Lets be real, this era was the weakest the East has ever been. T-Mac, Horace Grant, Darrell Armstrong, Matt Harpring, Pat Garrity, Patrick Ewing, DeClerq, Bo Outlaw, Jud Buechelr, and Dee Brown in the weak ass east>>>>

he didnt coach a bad series. it simply came down to which role players stepped up and made shots. its been well known for awhile now that depth is their problem. it was going to get them eventually :manny:

You probably know from my posts, I'm a HUGE Celtics fan. Been a fan of Pierce since '01, Bill Russell is my favorite old school player

I was a huge fan of the Celtics title run from 2007-2013. I watched basically every game they played. And I must say, DOC RIVERS IS OVERRATED

Doc Rivers doesn't coach, he just gives speeches
During his whole time on the Celtics, he ran only two predictable plays. Run a Pick and Pop with a point guard and PF, or run a screen play and a curl with a SG. And if all else fails, just run real fast and hope you're open

Josh Smith hit those 4 threes and a drive to the basket, took the momentum away from the Clippers. And Doc had no answer for an adjustment. I bet in the huddle, all he could say was "Play harder!!!! :damn:"

Not a single competent play called the whole 4th quarter :francis:

How the hell did that Celtics team win a chip you ask, with Doc AND Thibs on staff?

Garnett, Pierce, and Ray. I keep tellin nikkas they coached themselves :heh:
Only a few coaches REALLY COACH in the league I bet:sas2:

That n1gga gave Redikk, Barnes, and Hawes deals. Then talkin bout paying DJ. He needs his gm duties taken away.

And he might have ok'd Crawford's deal too :damn:

those teams werent good

I remember he went 41-41 with a Pre-TMac and Grant Hill Magic team that started the season aiming for the #1 pick.

Rivers is overrated, but he not a bad coach.

Those Magic teams with T Mac were really bad. Tmac was always out there with a bunch of bums. They were like a defenseless version of the early 2000s Sixers.

When they did get up 3-1, thats when the Pistons threw the hail mary and put in Prince for the first time. He gave Tmac a lot of trouble, and that was that. No coach could have saved them. That year they traded Mike Miller for Drew Gooden cause they thought he'd be a low post threat :skip: Thats what Doc was dealing with.

he traded all their picks away

CP, Blake, DJ all gonna have max deals now taking up $60 million of the cap

They're gonna pay luxury tax regardless but they can only round out the roster with minimum contracts
