Most knowledgeable celts fans already knew this. He was a motivational speaker/manager. I wanted him fired before we got ray and kg. He had the terrible rotations and plays. Thibs ran the defense and we had pierce, kg, ray..even cassell,pj brown etc that champ year. Tons of vets. He gave rondo the helms and told the vets to keep him in check. He is good at what he does but he doesnt do much.

Overrated in what sense? He's a top 5 coach in the league. You can't call a coach overrated unless you compare him to his peers.

I don't think some people realize how many terrible coaches are in the league.

I don't think Rivers is overrated as a coach but he is massively overrated as a GM. Count on Reddikk and Matt Barnes to deliver in the playoffs brehs.

This. Hes poor GM moves/roster management got exposed big time. It was going to happen sooner or later. And also two choke artist superstars doesn't help either.
