instead of just having pits, rotts and etc on leashes, why not have all dogs on leashes when going outside? i hate when i'm driving and a loose dog or cat is running across the street and i suddenly have to step on the brake or people letting their pets shyt where ever they want without picking it up or cleaning it. there should be a large fine for dumb shyt like that.

This exactly it. As the owner of a powerful breed, i feel we do have a special obligation to keeping our strong dogs (Pit Bulls, Boxers, Rottys, Mastiffs) well secured, and properly trained at all times. But in reality ALL dogs should be leashed, the only exception being if you live in a 3000 acre ranch in Montana or something. There is literally nothing good that comes from people not leashing their dogs. Last year i had to skid to a stop to avoid a pug sniffing in the street. then it just ran back into it's yard. It's the most basic part of responsible dog ownership. Anything else is pure lazyness. No excuses.

Sucks man, but at least you understand what you did wrong. I once had a neighbor who had a golden retriever that was always unleashed in their front yard. I lost count the amount of times it would dart out their yard, and run straight up to me as i walked my LEASHED dog (who happens to be a 45 pound pit bull.) Each time i would scoop my grown ass dog up in my arms, and wait for retrievers dumb ass owner to come get their dog out the street. It would stand about 3 feet away barking loud as fukk. fukkin' nightmare.

The worst part was that the owner let it happen over and over, and would slowly walk out to get it. Meanwhile im standing their, holding my pit bull in my arms, trying to protect mostly his dumb ass retriever. If his loose retriever attacked my leashed "Pit Bull," we know who would end with the vet bills. Same thing happened over and over for years. So fukking annoying. It got to the point where i entirely stopped walking down that end of my own street.

Reminds me of when this one time we're in front of my boy's house chillin' and his lil girl was posted up in her ride ( http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51dAOX7H5KL._SY300_.jpg ) listening to some tunes. Out of nowhere the neighbor dog starts rushing at her. I dropped my beer and started rushing in too (first to notice). She was hysterical, crying and shyt and both the dog and I greet her around the same time.
