He made that "robbery in his house" shooting story up. It was a stunt. He made it up when he saw Gucci (who he IDOLIZED at the time) getting all that street cred for shooting dude in the robbery setup. Gucci's incident was all in the news. Police interviews, the whole nine. There wasn't shyt in the news, in public documents, in police reports..... NOTHING... about the Soulja Boy shooting.... NOTHING. The media would have ate it up.
He made this story up when he was a multiplatinum "Kiss Me Thru the Phone" rapper....This would've been HUGE news! The only time you ever hear it being talked about is in HIS OWN interviews or in his documentary movie.
I may be wrong, but could someone please show me an _official_ news article about it? Even if it's a local Atlanta news station, or newspaper, just some kind of real article and not no damn blog article or Soulja interview where he talks about it. A REAL article that has credibility just like Gucci's incident. You can find TONS of links from official news sites about Gucci's shooting. And don't tell me "Oh he covered it up in the media because he didn't want the public to know because he had little kid fans buying his music and it would hurt his image" (which is what they kinda said in his documentary).... He RAN to the internet the minute he made up this story, talking about he shot nikkas that ran up in his crib..... HOW is that an effort "to hide" the story from the media???? He posted it all over his MySpace.
Quite simply, there was NO MEDIA COVERAGE because IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. You can't stop the news from reporting on an incident of the caliber that this would've been! A SHOOTING with assault RIFLES in a RICH gated SUBURB community from a HOME INVASION? With cacs living ALL AROUND YOU????? Not ONE SINGLE fukkIN NEWS REPORT or INTERVIEW WITH A NEIGHBOR??? POLICE MAKING A STATEMENT??? Nope.
