SMH... so many gullible folks in here. Most of y'all understand the real though... So props to y'all.
And I see homie that posted Wikipedia, though I know you weren't posting that up as a fact that's why you said "for what it's worth"... cause as we know, Wiki holds no credibility as any fan can type stuff in there. Usually when it is a verified fact, it can be cited by a newspaper article, but his Wiki page is unable to cite anything about the "robbery incident" - only a quote from an MTV News interview spoken by Soulja himself about the incident. And as dude who posted it said, there was a police report (which I have yet to have ever heard about) that stated no shots were fired. So if that's true about the police report, then that would settle it right there that Soulja didn't let off AK rounds at robbers in his crib.
Then you still have people saying "nah it really happened".. "it did happen".... "I remember the aftermath footage, his boys were really shook"... SMH... There is no real aftermath footage or news report. You are remembering clips from the Soulja Boy documentary thing on Netflix where his own people/management are talking about the "incident" and acting shook up about it to add realism to the story for their movie/documentary. There is _NO_ footage, witness/neighbor interviews, news reports, etc.
The ONLY source of this info is from the mouth of Soulja Boy himself or his manager/old crew. Yet there's people in here that believe his story just because he said it... and maybe also because it was said many years ago, and people's memories are blurred about it... they remember hearing about it, posted on gossip sites, etc. etc. so in their head they're like "Yeah breh I remember when that happened, shyt really went down, he caught that body in self defense"... yet again, there has never in the history of any official news reporting, even a simple mention about it.
Then you have a couple idiots in here defending Soulja so hard that they acting like the news reports were kept classified by Soulja's top secret ninja intel team or Interscope/Universal, so that they could protect his image from little kids. LOL. Well if that was the case, why wasn't Capitol/Universal able to stop news reports of that singer Houston gouging his own eye out on PCP? Didn't he have a plethora of little kid fans? LOL at comparing this situation to Eddie Murphy and trannies... the news did report Eddie getting caught. Yes, maybe his handlers somewhat cleaned it up later so he could do kids movies, but it was initially reported in the news when it happened... Just like Soulja's incident would've been reported immediately. You can't put a stop to that. News crews would've swarmed Soulja's house in that ATL gated suburb and his neighbors/homeowner's assocation would be freaking out. Again, an assault rifle is fired by a black male celebrity multiple times at a group of robbers in a rich Georgia gated community full of white folks, and Interscope was able to stop ALL Georgia news crews, newspapers and journalists from rushing to the scene (which you know they would've been there bright and early in the morning for the morning Atlanta news) and ordered them to keep shut? It's a major news story.... you can't suffocate that, I'm sorry...
fukkin Pee-Wee Herman was nothing but a little kid's star, but his handlers couldn't suffocate the news when he got caught jacking off publicly at an adult movie store... and you think Soulja Boy of all people... had the ability/handlers to suffocate news of his self-defense robbery AK-shooting?
