I wasn't even looking for it. I think it was like September or October of last year, but I just did an eBay search one morning and saw the listing for a MV8000 with max outputs and monitor. I looked at the posting and it had the MV8-OP1. The only issue was the tap tempo button dropped. I messaged dude and asked how much it would cost to get it without the monitor and he told me the price and I bought it immediately. The OP1 cost $500 by itself and to get it with a 99% working MV8000 for way less than that. :ahh:

I was going to flip the MV8000 for an 8800 (since the reason I sold it the first time was because the OP1 was impossible to get) but I ended up swapping the floppy for a card reader to swap out the SD Card without having to open it up or trying to move files using that slow USB and upgraded to CD drive to DVD.
Wrong OP1. shyts called the OP 1

Yeah lol, how exactly does analog producing work? Synthesizer/mpc -> interface -> studio monitors?

600 bucks :francis:

If it has to be an MPC then get a MPC TOUCH. You will get the 2.1 software some solid kits, hybrid 3 vst and of course the controller. If its doesn't have to be an Akai machine get a Maschine MK3 which includes, the 2.7 software, massive plugin and Komplete select 11 plugins..

If you don't want to be tethered to a PC you can get a used MPC 1000 with JJOS and new pads anywhere from $400 to $650.

I have a MPC 1000, MPC LIVE, Studio (silver), Touch, Push 2, Maschine MK1, and a MK3. They all have there pro's and con's.

HE made this on a MPC X which is a standalone MPC like the MPC Live. The hardware has the same software (for the most part) as the MPC TOUCH/ MPCStudio controller when connected to a PC.

Since you were a 3000 user you should appreciate the vid, if im wrong i'll find you some lil yahcty beat making vid....

I am comfortable and I love you
What's the sound comparison like? I'm most def gonna get a 60, but not sold on a 3000.

60 is clean until you start pitching stuff, then it gets gritty in the high end, in a nice way. Limited sample time (depending on if you have the memory upgrade or not) forces you to get creative. Emphasizes the low mids, I love it on drums and bass. 3K is smooth, more high end to it, not gritty at all, really nice low pass filter built in, and lots more sample time. Has more of a low end bump than the 60, despite it being cleaner. Both sequencers are very similar, straightforward, and funky.

If you do get a 60, make sure you try to get one with as many upgrades as possible. (SCSI, 3.10e OS, etc.) They're a pain in the ass to get later. I have a 60 I never use cause the floppy drive is busted and I have no SCSI. The replacement prices are insane.

no offense, but you sound like a fool to me. I'm with a girl now that hates horror films because of her church and upbringing. Well, I dont go to church and I told her if we get married, she's gonna have to deal with my book, magazine, blu ray, action figure/doll collection of horror items or get the fukk on. I aint giving up shyt I've invested hours of my time and thousands of dollars in for a woman. It's not like I'm addicted to porn.
