Dog, you still got a working Paris? What kinda PC you running it on? :ohhh:

I MIDI my X up to a keyboard and its on. Even the stock sounds bang. The bass :blessed:
You ain't know? We can rock the Paris on modern hardware. I got that joint running on an X79 system and Windows 8.1. :blessed:
The guy created an ASIO driver to use the hardware with modern DAWs and I believe that he is working on a standalone driver that will include the mixer (and hopefully plugin and effects). He also ported effects from the DP/4+ to the Paris. The GUI is way outdated but that sound. :banderas:

I think the MV-8800 i had was warmer sounding out of the box but once it converted to mp3 i can't hear much difference with my fruity loop beats.
In software you just need some effects to make it more punchy and warmer sounding.

I mean you can kinda emulate the hardware sound and IMO make it even sound better with software these days. At least i can now.
But at the same time, there's so much software out there that it's hard to know what to use and how to use it.

Damn, she didn't want you making beats OP? and you followed suit :russ: It's one thing if you gave it up cause you wanted too but cmon.

That 3000 is fire but I always wanted that 2000xl just off the look lol.

If you can afford a OP 1, cop that instead. It's stand alone. Full of presets and shyt. Look up reviews on YouTube

Don't the Op-1 cost about 900? Why not just cop an MPC Live instead?

Does it come with presets and shyt? I don't want to primarily chop up samples. Especially when it's too expensive to clear them these days

Nah, I don't think so. It comes with samples and sound kits and stuff with the software but it's for chopping more so I would guess then to have presets and to compose with it.
