fukked up part about how time flies is when you see the likes of Kobe getting old as shyt. And seeing older rappers like Eminem, DMX, Nas, Ice Cube, with kids in college.
I know I still remember hearing Eminem on the radio in his prime back In 2000-2004

But I just realized how far we came on the timeline.

The last year of the 90s (1999) was FIFTEEN years ago :mindblown:

Kids born in the year 2000 are 14 years old and are probably fukking :mindblown:

There are people of Gen X pushing 50 years old :old: :wow: People born in 1965-1969 are in their late 40s now.

There are videogames systems and handhelds that are more powerful than big screen TVs of 10 years ago

There are 90s babies that graduated from college :dwillhuh:

There are 80s babies that are 30 or are closing on their 30th birthday. :damn:

The youngest 1% of baby boomers are 50 years old :merchant:

Crazy how far we reached....

I still remember when DMX ran Summer of 1998 with an iron Fist and Lauryn Hill's album dropping and getting universal love. And that was 16 years ago :mindblown:

nah, my dude. you don't wanna see that.

Might as well. I ain't on that exposure tip.

Another thing that is crazy is how I see cars of the 2006 models and think that they brand new, and even looking relatively new, when they are 8 years old with nearly 100k miles. I can buy a used car with a navigation system built in it for well under 10k now.

by the way did 2000-2003 feel like the late 90s updated to you?

It did, but I knew the 90s were over when boom bap beats were replaced by 808s and snares of the southern variety. By 2004 (10 years ago) I knew that the 90s were long gone.
