I know it’s a myth but I’ve decided to cut my hair every two months to preserve my hairline

At 33, my hairline is still the same as it did was when I was 15; ie full and not a single hint of receding. It’s the main reason why I still look very young. Now people say constant line up every week will have no effect on your hairline receding and maybe they they’re right but I’m not taking any chances.

The amount of nikkas I know with receding hairline is shocking. One of them at my job is only 23 and you can see his shyt receding already. I know at 33 with a full hairline I’m very lucky but I wanna keep that luck for a long time :manny:

Wait, since when did this become a ‘myth’???

I think what y’all are talking about as inevitable is male pattern baldness. But that’s not the only way a hairline gets bad/pushed back. Even if you have a straight line, barbers are conditioned to make your shyt look sharp, and the only way to do that is cut new growth, so over time they gon keep pushing you back

I have a low profile fro and go with the curl sponge. I stopped letting my barber line up my front and it’s done wonders. I look at old pics of when I was team ‘waves and lineup every other week’ and I never realized how gigantic my forehead was.

And sidenote the same applies for a proper beard. You gotta stop letting barbers cut your shyt so that your beard can grow higher
