Just reading the Cowboys thread, their corners aren't coached well either. They don't play the ball or make plays all. I don't think he is the solution.

I dunno breh, his track record is pretty good. In Seattle with Sherman, Maxwell, Browner, Thomas and Chancellor and in that first year in Dallas, Dallas Corners were improved from the previous year. I dunno what happened this year, he was apparently calling the defensive plays as well as coaching them so maybe that is it. But I know their corner play improved last year with him as the DB coach.

Our corners technique has been trash since Doug and Schwartz been here even during the superbowl run. Undlin has been here since they came in. You need well coached corners especially in Schwartz's scheme.

Plus I think u can still salvage Sidney Jones and improve those other young corners. We spent alot of draft capital on Jones, Douglas and Maddox to not be maximizing their potential.

I haven't seen any mock drafts but if team health is on the board we might need to draft that ahead of WR and CB.

At least he's admitting this. The team's biggest failing this season was that they were too dependent on veterans and people who they were familiar with. Bringing back Jordan Matthews when the team needed help at receiver was a good example. Meanwhile, a lot of the late-season improvement came in the discovery of unknown players such as Greg Ward and Boston Scott.

It's definitely a factor of talent, BUT Groh was also the dude who said he didnt know how to integrate golden tate into the offense...

He will be here next year after the extension they gave him for cap relief. That is written in stone. Like they wont cut him or trade him because of the dead money.

You cant even trade him if you wanted to because of his foot injury.

Plus Howie was talking about him today regarding wat he did during the superbowl run, last year and this years dolphin game like he is selling us on him staying on the roster.
