If you lined up those guys first 8 years next to Russ, how do they look? I already lined up both he and Rodgers, will gladly do the same with everyone else...
I give Rodgers the slight edge, for about the fourth time in this thread I'll repeat, because Rodgers had the stronger arm at his peak. Rodgers could gun the ball further down the field at a more accurate clip, his hail Mary's are iconic. And Russ has had the tendency to hold on to the ball and take unnecessary sacks while trying to make a play, instead of throwing it away and living to fight another down...
So that counts, but other than that, there is no separation. They are equal in "wow" throws otherwise, equal in playmaking capability, equal in picking apart a defense. Russ is a better road QB. If your team is down and you need a comeback, they're equal...
So any assertion that Aaron is worlds better is unfounded, that ain't what the tape says and it ain't what their respective results as football players says...
