I watched one of those "what happened to their career" YT vids on her a year or so ago... didn't realize how trash of a career she had outside of Party of 5, IKWYDLS, and maybe one other thing.
Tho now that i think about it... out of all white america's 90s teen/young adult idols (Neve Cambell, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shannon Doherty, Tiffani Thiessen, Danielle Fishel, etc.,) i guess most were shyt actors outside of their niche roles
I thought about this while I was watching 10 Things I Hate About You. We might need a thread to talk about how the stars of that era really aren't taking over hollywood now.
Who from that era and in that lane really had staying power past 2010?
Many of them quit which is understandable. I think if they get the fame when their a little older like Colin Farrell, Oscar Isaac, or Pedro Pascal(He was in Buffy for an episode with SMG and I had no idea) they continue to have success. I also don't think it's common for them to stay on top because that's the business.

Heath Ledger was there or at least on his way until he passed away.
Julia Stiles has the Bourne Franchise.
Paul Walker had The Fast & Furious franchise back on top until he died
Jessica Alba is still fine as hell but even I stopped watching her movies
Jessica Biel was up there but she kinda fell back. I heard Candy was good though.
Kirsten Dunst had a hiatus and does good work now.
Chris Evans isn't considered outside of Marvel movies. I think he's underrated though. Snowpiercer is a banger and he was good in Knives Out.
Josh Hartnett took a hiatus but it seems like he's back again.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was up there for a minute. IDK what stopped his momentum.
Hilary Swank was acting back then but wasn't an idol. She's good and I'd say she's A list still.
Alicia Silverstone Batman & Robin must have stumbled her career something crazy.
Chris O'Donnell has been eating good off NCIS with LL I can't hate
If you consider them the same era Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are the only 2 true A List actors I could think of at the time that came up in the 90s.
Natalie Portman & Anne Hathaway are around the same age as the people I listed. Portman started in the 90s as a kid, and might be the best kid to adult actor story I can think of. Anne Hathaway broke through in 2001 which was a lil later. They're both A list actors.

Past 2010 I can't think of many movies or shows starring black leads from the 90s-2009. Maybe the 90s-early 2000s didn't have staying power like the 80s
Omar Epps. Last movie I seen him in, he was a love interest for Glenn Close
Mekhi Phifer. I do hope him and Brandy are in this movie. I might be angry if they aren't
