Drake isn't THAT bad but his fans/stans make people hate him. Me included.
I like drake. I know he doesn't write all his own rhymes, but I think he's still a talented guy. Even listening to the reference tracks, I can see why the guys who write for him haven't made it. They didn't have the charisma, the it factor. Even if you don't like him there's no denying that he has "it". Just like Beyoncé. I hate the way she sings personally, but I'm not denying her talent. She doesn't write her music, choreograph her acts, or do anything creative wise (for the most part), but she's a great entertainer and she has the it factor. Not everyone does, and they fall in their place in the industry.

They weren't writing songs that they knew they would be able to perform. No need to be charismatic, just laying the cadence down for him. You can think he is talented although, realistically you have no reason to be believe so if you think his talent is rapping because he didnt create what he is saying. Like you said, just call him an entertainer.
