I just remember a post or two of his where he mentioned being from Chicago. As with most metropolitan areas, people in the burbs still tie themselves to the city at large.

Folks in South Holland, the Heights, and other suburban areas still tell people they are from Chicago when speaking with those who are not. You know how it goes. lol

Yeah, these are my sentiments, sadly. RIP to the life lost and I wish better for melanated people, but ironically like Lil Durk said 'ain't no killing without killing'.

That's not to implicate them for anything, and obviously teenage nikkas beef over dumb shyt, but I'm sure if we had a chance hear both sides, we could all point out where better choices could've been made.

Honestly, I'm looking at the silver-lining at the fact that seemingly the shooter hoped out the car to make sure he got who he was targeting rather than just wildly spray bullets hitting innocents. This could've been a worse story.

Both of the boys were 17 I believe and were gang members. There have been multiple videos from rival gang members mocking them by pretending to be dead in the same position the boy with his mouth open was in.

The best thing someone from Chicago (or any inner city ghetto) can do for their child is to move them to the country and invest in their education. There's no reason for two 17 year old boys to be in the position where they have people targeting them in broad daylight. RIP to them and to future retaliations.
