Blast it in the whip with max bass :wow:

Thank me later

You're joking, but the Mahler symphonies would probably sound epic af.

EDIT:

Actually, this brings up another point @pickles @Sankofa Alwayz and anyone else wanting to get into classical. If you listen on laptop speakers, through AirPods or little earbuds, you're gonna have a hard time enjoying anything but solo instrumental pieces.

Classical music hits you hardest through a sound system or headphones.

:ehh: Especially with conductors that like to play up the instrument section locations.

There were some songs we had to move the back:mjpls: because he wanted the piccolos to be “heard in the back”.at the time I thought he was being stupid until I listened to a concert years later and heard them in the back

I really do love moonlight sonata. Its actually the only song by Beethoven i like. Im more of a bach kinda guy. I hope i dont offend yall classical brehs in here, but beethoven felt overly bombastic and ostentatious for me. In fact sonata is one of his more reserved and controlled pieces.

Coincidentally, my next suggestion is also from the berlin philharmonic. Adagio is some music you play when you are in deep contemplation. :ohlawd:

There was a movie once that was based around the concept that classical music changed the human frequency of resonance that was a very interesting premise as this genre definitely can shift your awareness.

Its quite interesting how many modern movie scores are classical styled pieces in their own right yet are not seen that way by purists. Both of them can change your mood with a quickness as they are so evocative and if you take a movie scene and remove the music its impact is decimated. Fell the difference:

Life truly is something way more than the sum of its parts and yet we are one thing, in essence, witnessing one thing via the division of various frequencies of resonance that we then stitch together in our heads thinking that many things actually exist...
