Add in the fact that I'm in school and I'm getting back over 6 racks state & federal combined because of those tax credits. I always heard about ppl doin that but ain't never see it. Couldn't believe my eyes brehs.

Most idiots think it's "free money"

But hey :yeshrug: most of them can't save a nickel so "overpaying" the government and getting it back later is basically their savings account.

Forced savings.
You’re half right. Most people know it’s their own damn money. You get taxes taken out then they give them back. It’s not rocket science

But you’re right that most use it as savings. Getting back $2000 a year = $76 extra a check.

Most people would burn up that $76 dollars on dumb shyt

I dont look forward to tax season.

I always owe and knowing Uncle Sam I probably always will.
Facts.
gotta love the threads from people late to the knowledge acting like they kickin knowledge :ahh:

behavioral and pysch differences in getting an extra 300 month vs. getting a one time $3600 check. $300 is so small people won't use it "correctly", getting $3600 back is like someone else said, a forced savings...whether they park it in savings, pay off a bill, ect, getting a lump sum > small incremental pay throughout the year that's easy to whittle away on bullshyt
shyt is annoying and low key arrogant. nikkas always looking to look down on people.
I'm fine with getting a tax refund, I prefer it that way for personal reasons. I know yall talking that holier than thou shyt about giving interest free loan but you guys are 100% right, I can't argue against the facts of that. But to be honest, I would prob spend that extra cash on some frivilous shyt. that extra money amounted to an extra ~30 per pay period/$60 dollars a month for me. Having that extra $800 throughout the year wouldn't net me much in most investment vehicles if not spent out right. I'm coo with my lump sum refund :yeshrug:.

Anyone that feels like getting extra money thru out the year will be a bad idea since they will spend it, feel free to send me the money and I'll send it back to you at the end of the year. Don't want that extra 100 a week and just want that 5200 a year? Send it to me and I'll send it to you in a year and not a dollar less. Besides with that Ally 2.2% interest I'm getting on it, I'll have a much better use for it than the government will. 100% money back guarantee also. :myman:

I love Coli accountants.

How you getting 2.2 on the full amount, when you won’t have the full amount in the account until the final paycheck?

But let’s say you did. The interest on 5500 dollars is a whopping 121 dollars a year. And I highly doubt 10% of the people you know, is getting that much back.

nikkas acting like banking gurus over 121 dollars. Some people would PAY 121 dollars to be able to save 5500 over 12 months
