I like to listen to “Toss It Up” while imagining that the “boooooooooom” in the background is Suge Knight

But also how did he not get sued for this … I mean by modern standard the “child play” line would’ve been a lawsuit :heh: but the song composition is lifted down to the melody within each portion of the song’s structure

He basically just took the whole record . . how did he not get sued for this?

Not only did they jack the instrumental, and as far as production"Toss It Up" is much better then Dr. Dre's "No Diggity" and the song is much better because of Tupac's presence but they took the whole damn song all the way down to the format and just threw Tupac on the verses, the song practically lifts everything down to the structure

"Gotta bag it up" >>>>> "Let me see you toss it up"

Also let's talk about the diss to Dre

"No longer Dre Day, arrivederci
Blown and forgotten, rotten for plottin Child's Play
Check your sexuality, as fruity as this Alize
Quick to jump ship, punk trick, what a dumb move
Cross Death Row, now who you gon' run to?
Lookin for suckers cause you similar
Pretendin to be hard, oh my God, check your temperature (He said "Check your temperature" to Dr. Dre" - :pachaha: - this line goes overlooked because it's so subtle)
Screamin Compton, but you can't return, you ain't heard
Brothers pissed cause you switched and escaped to the burbs"

did you know that Death Row quietly did an outta court settlement on a sexual abuse case involving a child? . . notice Dre didn't seem to put up much a fuss about giving up his stake in a hundred million dollar company and the rights to his records to Suge. The way it sounds Suge just showed up on his door like . . sign this :birdman:
