I live by myself but my mom comes by sometimes could be just that..

His moms comes over his house to say hello to her son, drop off laundry, cook him a meal or whatever. Perhaps he really does live alone.

:rudy: @ this thread. TS is lying that she dont care he might live with his moms.

Cus theres no other valid reason to make this thread.

"Why would he say that?"

Well why should you care and think about it that much? Maybe he was just saying dont be nervous if my mom stops thru when youre over Im trying to help her out. He mightve been just lookin out for you, he might think you arent trying to meet his mom, or he might not want you meeting his mom.

You know I was thinking about this and its funny that when you look at some of the Asian and Indian cultures in America. Staying with the family is a very common thing. Around here if you go into the high priced residential area you're very likely to find that EVERYONE is still at home. The kids, the parents , the grandparents, maybe even a cousin or uncle are all in the same very large house.

It isn't because they're broke or because they're bums, its usually quite the opposite.

Makes me kind of wonder if we're doing our children a disservice by kicking them out or allowing them to leave before they are truly ready. (even though they think they might be ready)

I can think of at least 5 or 6 people I know personally that left home in-between the age of 16-22 and ended up having to move back home
